Recently I have discovered Vertor, a new kind of bit torrents search engine, which I am finding pretty much superior over all other resources I had used before. It is not much of a piece of news that a torrents search site is the easiest-to-use tool for downloading and sharing media files. For me, an experienced freelance translator/interpreter, this is something of a vital necessity. I read as much about it as I could and one day asked a friend of mine who had been using it for more than two months, and the conversation left no questions. That was how I got hooked on Vertor, and that was a really nice addiction!
Vertor is a marriage of the verb ‘verify” and the noun ’torrent’, and I think it just speaks for itself. It contains only reliable files that have passed a multi-step and manually performed verification procedure. It is not until a file is checked for errors, adware or malware and proven free of DRM and password protection that it is entitled to be uploaded. Because the procedure is a bit time-taking, you have to wait many hours until your file is posted. Although it goes not give a hundred-per-cent guarantee, the virus occurrence has dropped drastically. This new torrents search system has put things right for me, and I never miss a chance to advise my friends and colleagues on using Vertor!
