The general opinion on the blogosphere points to a Nokia tablet, but we’re wondering (and hoping) if it might be an entirely new kind of device. Imagine having MID-like phones with Atom processors and an ability to make the iPhone 3G S look like it has the equivalent of a dial-up connection. While a Nokia tablet could be a cool thing, there are so many netbooks on the market, we’re ready for a new kind of toy to blog about.

While Intel has already partnered with LG for Moorestown, a generation of Atom processors for their MID, that is still a long way away. This could be Intel’s first foray into the real cell phone market  and the Intel and Nokia partnership could give us something a little sooner than the Moorestown MID, or at least something a little more interesting to talk about instead of gushing about how cool this Atom processor is compared to others.
