Right after its launch, i noted the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/06/22/apple-iphone-3g-s-trouble-roundup/"rel="nofollow">sundry problems reported by new iPhone 3GS owners, but this is the first time we’ve heard tell of this specific one… and it seems like a doozy. It’s unclear exactly what caused this, but what is apparent is an unattractive, brownish / pinkish discoloration on the above handset. The user claims it was caused by overheating during a period of using the GPS and 3G of the phone. Either way, it looks pretty crummy now, doesn’t it? What about the rest of you with new, white iPhones? Anything to report?

I don’t really get what all the fuss is about, since the Web browser on the iPhone could always be used to surf pornographic Web sites, but the first topless porn app has come to Apple’s App Store.

In fact, the “Hottest Girls” app was so popular at $1.99 that it apparently crashed the developer’s servers and has been temporarily taken down.

The reason Apple is now allowing porn into the App Store is that iPhone OS 3.0 has parental controls, so owners can limit their kids from accessing mature apps.

But again, the Safari browser on the iPhone has never been restricted from just browsing to regular porn sites. Is having an actual app really all that exciting? Or is this just something for dorks to giggle over with their friends?

And where exactly do purchasers of this app plan to peruse their portable material? On the bus? During meetings?
